TOUR operators have welcomed the Inspector General of Government’s (IGG) probe into the monopoly rights given to a private firm to sell gorilla tracking permits in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

IGG cancels gorilla park contracts Sunday, 23rd May, 2010
THE Inspector General of Government Raphael Baku has directed the Uganda Wildlife Authority to cancel all the illegal and irregular contracts it made with the Nkuringo Conservation and Development Foundation and Uganda Safari Company in Kisoro district.
