Hot Air Balloon Ride Serengeti Safari - Serengeti National Park

Serengeti is considered the most important wildlife sanctuary remaining on earth. Over 3 million large animals, some of which are found nowhere else, coexist in the Serengeti, making it peerless in quantity and variety of life.
You will experience a wrap-around panorama of Africa. The safari takes you to experience game viewing from the Sky of Serengeti National Park. Gliding serenely above the trees offers unparalleled panoramic balloon views of the awe-inspiring landscape.
At 0500hrs you will be collected from the lodge in Serengeti and be driven to the Launch site near Maasai Kopjes. You will meet your pilot to be briefed about your safari.

At dawn the balloon takes off, rising as the sun rises and floats in whichever direction the winds of the morning takes it. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon; offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife bellow.

The balloon ride is for about one hour depending on conditions. On landing you will be met by a helpful team, and the tradition of balloon flights the world over you toast your return to earth with champagne. You celebrate in the traditional manner with champagne (an excellent sparking wine) before sitting down to enjoy a full English breakfast prepared and served in the bush in out of Africa style with bone china, linen table cloths and kings silver.

After Bush breakfast you receive your Serengeti Balloon Certificate and drive you back to the lodge which marks the end of your safari.
