Rwanda - The land of a thousand hills

Once considered by many an add-on tour destination to Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya, Rwanda has gained a significant position as a hot tourism destination in Africa. Its main attraction is the mountain gorillas found in Parc National Des Volcans which has seen a significant increase in the number of tourists visiting the Country over the last couple of years.  
Despite being a landlocked Country, it has great tourism potential with many tour attractions.
Its capital city is Kigali and is bordered by the four East African Countries of Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo.  This country is known as the “Land of thousand Hills” with an average elevation of 1700m above sea level. It has the Virunga mountain ranges in northern region of the country.
