Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Amboseli National Park arriving Amboseli in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park, a park famous for its big game and great scenic beauty whose entire landscape is dominated by Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or Luxury tented camp.Approx transit time: 5 hrs.
Early morning game drive. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi to catch up with your flights to Entebbe airport. Upon arrival you will be meet and transferred to your hotel of residence in Kampala for dinner and overnight stay.
An early start from Kampala after your Breakfast takes you southwest Uganda by road with your guide, cross the Equator, and then to Mbarara for Lunch and through Savannah grasslands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scenic drive through Kigezi Highlands known as the Switzerland of Uganda, banana plantations and heads of Ankole cattle take you to the gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi. Overnight at Gorilla Resort/Buhoma community Bandas (Full Board)
Following heavy morning breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing with packed lunch, and then later at 9:00 am you will set off along the tracks in the thick forest to search for these great apes. The tracking depends on the movement of these humble giants and its between 2-9 hours before you encounter the Gorillas. The walk is tiresome however meeting these great apes and spending some time with them while looking deep into their expressive brown eyes, is an exhilarating and heartbreaking wildlife encounter that Africa has to offer.
Time permitting, you can take a nature walk to near by communities. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge; Ruhijja Safari Lodge or Buhoma Homestead /Buhoma Lodge (luxury option) or Buhoma Community Rest Camp; WagTail Eco Safari Camp (Budget option).
In the morning you will have breakfast and then pack your luggage to start on the Journey back to Kampala. The drive will take you to stop in Mbarara for lunch and then proceed to reach Kampala in the Evening.
