You will be received and transferred to your Nairobi hotel for meals and overnight stay.
Early morning breakfast will be served at the hotel, soon after depart for Samburu National Reserve. You will enjoy great views on the way, and meals will be served at the Samburu Sopa Lodge/equivalent. An evening game drive will follow, Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives in the semi-arid park with its striking views. This place has got abundance of trees, water and shade, which entice wildlife. Have an opportunity to see the unusual reticulated giraffe, gravy zebra, Somali ostrich, beisa, oryx, vulturine, guinea fowl among others. Meals and overnight at Samburu sopa lodge/Samburu lodge or similar.
Following an early morning breakfast game en-route leave Samburu for Sweet water arriving in time for lunch and check in at Sweet waters luxury Tented Camp or similar, Sweetwater’s is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation in Kenya of these widely abused chimpanzees with two groups living in an environment as close to their natural habitat as possible. The site is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area. Afternoon game drives across the Park. Later return for Dinner and overnight at Sweet waters Luxury Tented Camp or similar.
After breakfast then depart the lodge for Lake Nakuru National park arriving in good time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Full afternoon game drives followed by dinner and overnight stay at a lodge inside the park
Breakfast then view game as we exit the park and drive to via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch at a Lodge. Full afternoon game drive till dusk when we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
This day is quite tiresome but exciting. Enjoy a walk to the Hells gate National Park. Then return to your lodge, Lake Naivasha Country Club for lunch. After lunch go down to the lake, and take a boat ride to the crescent Island, a short distance, to enjoy a gently walk among the wildlife. Dinner and overnight and Lake Naivasha Country Club.
Start your day with a drive down in to the Great Rift Valley past the spectacular Volcano Mount Longonot and head towards the rolling plains of the Masai Mara. Before entering into the Game Reserve, you will take a visit to a Masai village. Enjoy learning about Masai tradition and lifestyle, and you can also try your hand at the age-old tradition of bartering for souvenirs. The village is slightly commercialized but still gives a good idea of how the Masai live. Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
Have an early Morning game drive before breakfast and lunch at the Lodge. The children will have some time in the hotel pool, and as the sun goes down a bit, you will leave for the afternoon drive, that will make your day end with fresh memories of the park wildlife. Meals and overnight at Simba Lodge or similar.
Carry picnic lunch after breakfast as you start the journey to venture further into the reserve towards Mara River in search of the big hippo pools, giant crocodiles and off course the world famous crossing point for the wildebeests, among other wildlife that this park has in store for you. You will return to the lodge for a rest, probably a dip in the pool and the rest of the time free. Your energies permitting, venture out again in last moments of the day to try your luck with the cats that are active when the temperatures cool.
Wake up early for a leisure relaxed break fast at your lodge before transferring back to Nairobi arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon. Lunch will be served at Carnivore restaurant, then your transfer to Entebbe Uganda for meals and overnight stay at your lodge.
The company guide will pick you up from the hotel very early in the morning after breakfast then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You will have a stop at the Equator for an informative talk as well as some photography. Continue to Mbarara where were you will stop for lunch and then proceed through rural countryside of Uganda. Keep an eye out on the beautiful scenery where you can see the triangular peaks of the Virunga volcanoes of Rwanda and the Congo and terraced farming to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home of the mountain gorillas. After breakfast and briefing by a ranger guide, enter into the Gorilla Sanctuary for your adventure. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Mammals in the forest include the endangered mountain gorilla, rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephant, black fronted duiker, bushbuck, leopard, giant forest hog and many others. The park is known for its fascinating gorillas. The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movements of these marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure.
